The membership of the Mathru Jyothi unit of the parish is open to the Catholic mothers of the locality. The unit has a remarkable history of ten years. Blessed Virgin Mother is the model and patroness of the Association.
Meetings are held on a monthly basis. Rosary, Bible Reading, Meditation on the verses of the read passage are a regular feature of the monthly gatherings. In addition, cultural programmes, study circles and talks on relevant themes are arranged under the aegis of the Mathru Joythi with a strength of 20 members.
